Yes, Cassia is now one! I cannot quite believe how quickly time flies, but after her party yesterday it hit me that I have a toddler...

Thank you every one for helping us celebrate Cassia's first birthday! We had a wonderful day, and are so blessed with friends and family, near and far, who love our little girl so much!

Koalas and monkeys and turtles, oh my

Last week Cassia and I went to San Diego zoo with our friends Nicole and Gigi!

It was so much fun!

They had a special Australian exhibit, so we got to see Koalas!

Apparently this is how they think we dress in Australia... but to be fair they played the 'Burke's Backyard' theme song, so they had done some research.

And this is adoreable Gigi after she had petted some sheep and goats... she is really good at doing the animal sounds, and even knows that Koala's aren't bears.
